 8 STEPS (Planning through Delivery)
1. SELECT YOUR PICTURES: Choose close-ups often and minimize large group photos. Select your sharpest photos The sharper your originals, the better they will look in your video. Fuzzy pictures will be fuzzy in your video. If you want your video to run a specific number of minutes, use 10 pictures per minute to roughly calculate the number of pictures that you need. We do moderate clean-up as needed on all pictures if you order Deluxe.2. GATHER YOUR INPUT MATERIALS: If you have print photos, slides and/or negatives and wish them to be presented in a specific order in the video, number them by writing the number on the back with a soft pencil. DO NOT write with an ink or ball point pen. . Obtain a total input count. Picture order is your choice. 3. DECIDE ON BACKGROUND MUSIC: If you wish to use your own CDs, select the music you want. Because of music copyright laws you must own an original copy of your music selection and submit the original copy with your pictures (your CDs will be returned to you with your order, along with your input materials). JRoss Video cannot accept compilation or home-burned music CDs. If you don't own the music on CD, JRoss Video will purchase it for you - please list the names of the songs and the artists' names. Plan 1 song for every 25 to 30 images. 4. COMPLETE JRoss Video ORDER FORM: Your price and delivery date are locked in when you submit your order. You may print and send a paper form with your order. If you need us to calculate your precise price before sending materials, then you must submit the electronic order on this website. 5. PRICE: We will add up the package and features you have selected and tell you the precise price of your order -- this is of course a figure that you have probably already calculated yourself. The only thing you cannot calculate precisely is shipping - we do that once we know your address and method of shipping desired. Once we tell you the price up front, you will never be surprised during the process with a change in price. 6. PACKAGE AND SHIP YOUR MATERIALS: Package your prints, 35 mm slides, video clips, music CDs, and payment in full (if paying with check or money order). If you are paying through PayPal, the process works like this. We request the order amount by Credit Card through PayPal, Ship or deliver your package to JRoss Video (email us for our Colorado Springs address). Inform us of the expected delivery date. We will promptly notify you via email when we receive your photo and music materials. 7. INTERNET PREVIEW: If you order this option, we will notify you when your video is ready for review. You have final editorial control of your video. This preview is not designed for major restructure nor adding new pictures (1 or 2 are permitted - above that, there is a charge for new pictures). We typically have any changes completed in a few hours. We request your final OK before we finalize and ship your DVD. 8. VIDEO COMPLETION: We will notify you via Email when your completed video order is in the hands of your return shipper. We will provide you with the shipper's tracking number for your package. Your can check your shipment progress on UPS.com or FedEx.com. Your completed video DVD and all of your originally submitted materials will be returned to you via the shipping method you requested.
